Welch
October 11, 2008
As funny as this may sound, I’m actually not in West Wing cluster doing my programming homework…. I’m actually in another dorm that isn’t mine… I’m at Welch…
Anyway… I believe that nothing is really working out as I planned lately… Nothing seems to be going to my plan… Then again, one could always argue that I never really had a plan to begin with (as everyone knows, I really don’t think much about life to begin with…), but I do have some kind of goals and future in my mind… However, I must admit, that nothing… really NOTHING is going as planned!
My friends are all going through trouble, including myself…. Sadness TOTALUS…
random comments here on my blog… just to let my emotions go… T.T
2007

Kind of looking back to the year 2007… One thing that I remembered (probably due to seeing it in my photos folder all the time) is our Guajira trip for March. Technically “last year” in school terms, the trip was a blast!
Here are some of the pictures (shame that I didn’t retouch any of the photos… Coming from a normal digital camera, Nikon Coolpix, some colors may not be shown fully…):

Yeah, that’s Bruce up there. The blue one on the right being Changwon and the two other people walking behind is JiYang and JunHyung.
Oh yes, did I mention the two pigs there eating seaweed? Weird…

I love this picture because I can see the desert arid land to the right and the water to the left. Alright… you really can’t see the desert well but whatever.
The best part is that you can actually see that the earth is round… the ocean is round, isn’t it? Or are my eyes screwed up?

I think this was a place called playa de los camarones or something of that sort. Lots of shrimp fishing in this area. (or do you say netting…?)
Don’t you love how the sky is so clear and of one deep blue color?

The bridge which we passed through (it smelled like crap because of the drying sea water below) to get to the sea turtles…

It was the first morning after our arrival to Riohacha in the Guajira region.
They made us walk. Yes, I was pissed. But the view was nice ^^.

This picture was taken while we stopped for a while on the way to “Cabo de la Vela,” almost the northern most tip you can get to from mainland Colombia (considering territory, you can go to San Andres island which is next to Nicaragua, but Colombian property).
We’ve been in those cars for hours and when we stopped (I was sleeping until then, so I don’t know how the scenery changed…) there was a desert open in front of us. Kind of freaky if you ask me.
